I saw some reaction from local Republicans about the second impeachment of Donald Trump.

A lot of it was about how it will further divide the country. Republicans still wearing red hats that still support the president that has already said he won’t show up for the inauguration don’t get to decide what is and is not unity and division.

Think Barack Obama wanted Trump to win? Of course not. But he showed up at the inauguration, he passed the baton. Hillary showed up too. She didn’t file any lawsuits. She didn’t mount an insurrection.

Unity of this country requires truth, respect, responsibility and humility. Donald has none of that. May we all find more as he fades into the depths of irrelevancy and reduces the amount of poison in the free air of America.
