Snow storm leaves traffic accident in its wake
About a dozen traffic accidents kept county emergency responders busy Saturday as a snow storm moved through the area around midday.
Butler County emergency dispatchers said most of the accidents took place in Penn, Middlesex and Jackson townships from about 11 a.m. to noon.
No injuries were reported, but Water Street in Saxonburg was temporarily closed after a utility pole was left leaning after it was hit by a vehicle. The street has been reopened.
Most of the accidents involved vehicles sliding off roads and getting stuck on hills, dispatchers said.
