Legal challenge of election results 'sour grapes'

I read in the Nov. 23 edition of the Butler Eagle (Kelly Tosses Up Another Hurdle) that U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly has filed a lawsuit “asking the state to remove mail-in ballots from the Nov. 3 election results.” This would invalidate my good faith mail-in vote and the good faith mail-in votes of nearly 2.7 million other Pennsylvanians all because of some technical legislative procedure.

So now I have two questions: 1.) Why did Mike Kelly wait until AFTER the election to raise this concern? And, 2.) Would he have raised this issue at all if Donald Trump, Kelly’s preferred presidential candidate, had won?

I also read in the Eagle article that Mike Kelly was joined in the lawsuit by Sean Parnell and Wanda Logan, both Republican candidates who lost their election bids. This looks an awful lot like sour grapes by folks who didn’t get their way.
