Four Butler County area volleyball teams are in the WPIAL playoffs. Pairings were announced Monday.

No. 8 seed Seneca Valley hosts No. 9 seed Latrobe at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Class 4A. No. 8 seed Mars hosts No. 9 seed Hopewell while No. 11 seed Freeport travels to No. 6 seed Laurel Highlands Thursday in Class 3A. Both games are at 7 p.m.

North Catholic is the No. 1 seed in Class 2A and drew a bye. The Trojanettes will host the Shenango-Carmichaels winner at 7 p.m. Nov. 2.
