Police Reports

Oct. 5 — Guy R. Palermo III, 38, of Adams Township was charged with drugged driving and having pills without a prescription and a THC extract box stemming from a call last month for a possible intoxicated driver on Route 228.

Police said they found the suspected vehicle shortly after 4 p.m. Sept. 27 pulled off Brickyard Road in a grassy yard. Palermo was in the driver’s seat. During the investigation, according to court documents, police allegedly found the drugs and other contraband, including rolling papers.

Palermo was eventually taken to UPMC Passavant hospital in Cranberry Township, where he refused to submit to a blood test. He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
