Bill Kiser, project manager for Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland, tightens the lightbulbs on the lighted tunnel at the Big Butler Fairgrounds on Wednesday. Over the next six weeks, Kiser and his crew will work seven days a week, rain or shine, to install nearly 1 million lights. According to Kiser, the theme of this year’s light display is the Twelve Days of Christmas. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no Santa’s Village as in past years. The 2.5-mile light display will open to the public Nov. 13 and continue through Jan. 3.
