Calling all GOOD Republicans! Traditionally, the Republican and Democrat parties have always been interested in what is good for our country, it’s just that they have a different POV regarding what that “good” is. Then suddenly, in 2016, a man ran for president on the Republican ticket who prided himself on being the “anti-politician.” Was this man truly a Republican? Well, if you investigate, you will see that he has actually changed his party affiliation SIX times, and I — as most Americans — recognized him as nothing more than a con-man billionaire who wanted to feather his own nest.

So how did he get elected? Well, he allowed a foreign government to interfere in our elections and spread false stories about his opponent. He solicited the National Inquirer to spread lies about his political opponents (first Ted Cruz, then Hillary Clinton) and to promote him — Trump — as the “savior” of America. Then he made false promises, and tossed out meaningless phrases like “Drain the Swamp” that simple-minded people could latch onto. He did not “Make America Great Again,” in fact, America was already great. He just made America FEAR again with his lies about hordes of Mexicans storming our borders to steal our jobs and rape our women. His best friend was imprisoned for child sex trafficking, and was then conveniently “suicided” before he could speak about Trump in court. Another best friend was in charge of collecting money from Trump supporters to “build the wall,” and now that man is also in prison for stealing that money. Trump himself was fined two million dollars for stealing money from his fake charity in New York. Since becoming president he has earned 1.9 billion dollars, and spent $100 million taxpayer dollars on private golf outings.

He was impeached for abuse of power and extortion for AGAIN soliciting a foreign power to interfere with our elections. This time it was so flagrant that even several Republicans — including previous Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney — voted to impeach. But the majority of the Republicans in the Senate realized that doing so would be political suicide, so Trump survived this fatal blow.

He has not fulfilled ANY of his political promises. What he HAS done is (a) reverse laws to protect our environment (giving himself and other billionaires more money) (b) giving tax cuts to the wealthy and putting larger tax burden on the middle class and poor (again, to make more money for himself), (c) cutting Social Security benefits and funding (again, to help offset the tax cuts to himself and his wealthy friends) (d) placing unqualified friends and family in leadership and controlling positions within the government. (e) increasing the national deficit to an all-time high. WHY ARE PEOPLE SO PARTISAN THAT THEY PUT POLITICAL PARTY BEFORE GOD AND COUNTRY!

On Nov. 3 please be a GOOD Democrat or a GOOD Republican, but especially be a good AMERICAN. Don’t vote your party, vote your conscience.
