Police Reports

The following information was gathered from various police departments:

10:22 p.m. Saturday — Terrel Dean, 22, of Marion, Ind., was stopped by police while driving on Route 422 East and Bish Road for a traffic violation. When police pulled him over they smelled marijuana, searched his car and allegedly turned up a small amount of alleged marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Dean with drug possession and released him.12:41 p.m. Saturday — An unknown person dented the hood of a 2010 Nissan on 100 Woodbridge Road in Slippery Rock Township.2:05 a.m. Saturday — An unidentified woman from Ohio died when her vehicle left the roadway on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. Police did not indicate what the driver hit nor what cause her to leave the roadway.3:26 p.m. Friday — Timothy L. Dagan, 41, of Saxonburg, ran a stop sign on Fisher Road in Jefferson Township and hit a car that was driven by Robert C. Sheaffer, 50, of Cabot. No injuries were reported.3:56 p.m. Friday — Russell E. Burkhart, 55, of Parker, hit another vehicle when he entered Route 38 from North Washington Road without clearance after stopping. No injuries were reported.1:35 p.m. Friday — While driving on Herman Road in Slippery Rock Township, Andrew J. Shrader, 20, of Creighton, lost control of his vehicle and it flipped over. He is suspected of sustaining minor injuries, but he refused medical transport.9:30 a.m. Thursday — Courtney McFeaters, 42, of Harrisville, was charged with stealing $5,000 from her former employer, SRU Federal Credit Union.5:43 p.m. Sept. 27 — Police said Tara L. Dunn, 51, of Butler, caused a three-car crash at an intersection on Bonniebrook Road. Dunn failed to stop while she was traveling west on Herman Road and failed to stop, hitting a car being driven by Jeffrey E. Stahlman, 62, of Volant. Stahlman had properly stopped at the intersection before proceeding, and when Dunn hit his car his vehicle went spinning into a third car that was being driven by Raymond R. Bolt, 72, of Brackenridge. Bolt had also properly stopped before proceeding. Stahlman was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for possible injuries.5:06 p.m. Sept. 26 — Jesse C. Kastelic, 25, of Butler, was driving east on Kildoo Road when he tried to make a right turn onto Webb Road. Police said he was driving too fast and struck a tree. Kastelic allegedly fled the accident scene without reporting the accident.4:29 p.m. Sept. 17 — Two cars crashed head on West Park Road in Worth Township. Joshua A. Fajohn, 31, of Slippery Rock, was driving south on the road while Matthew D. Yelen, 25, of Slippery Rock, was traveling north on West Park Road. Fajohn was transported to a hospital for suspected minor injuries. Yelen refused medical attention.
