June Herold

June Herold of Butler will celebrate her 95th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 10 at her daughter Trudy’s home at 922 W. Sunbury Road, West Sunbury.

The former June Fleeger was born Oct. 16, 1925, in Chicora. She married Lawrence “Sonny” Herold Oct. 16, 1943, in Chicora. He died in 2014.

She has three children, Vicky Link of Canton, Ohio, Trudy Snodgrass of West Sunbury, and the late Ruth Armstrong of Slippery Rock.

She also has eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker.

She is a member of Ridgeville United Methodist Church.
