Kenneth E. Griffiths

Kenneth E. Griffiths of Butler celebrated his 95th birthday with a dinner Sept. 9 with family and friends.

Griffiths was born Sept. 9, 1925, in Kaylor. He married June Day on June 15, 1946. She died June 20, 2017.

He has one daughter, Sandra Swank of Butler.

Griffiths is retired from Witco Chemical (Sonneborn) Petrolia after working for 44 years.

He is a veteran of World War II serving as a medic with the U.S. Army.

Griffiths enjoys the Pittsburgh Pirates, bowling and exercising daily.

He is a 65-year member of the Butler Gideons International and belongs to the Chicora American Legion and the Whitestown Road Baptist Church.
