The Mars Area Board of Education approved several items Tuesday night:

- Leave for Kimberly Thomas, Tracy Bowes and Stacie Sills

- Ryan Acevedo, Tom Laylock, Jeremy Kubinsky, Alisha Whipkey and Michael Himmelstein as drivers and aides for A.J. Myers & Sons

- The resignations of Rachel Steigerwald (paraprofessional), Chrysta Ganter (soccer coach) and Ted Gross (ticket manager)

- Matt White and Khaled Haddad as soccer assistants, with $3,150 and $3,114 stipends, respectively

- Sue Kaminski as a ticket manager, with a $3,341 stipend

- Clinton Davies as a volunteer volleyball assistant

- Sally Buszinski as a mentor teacher for Kenneth Cloonan and Erin Linden, with a $600 stipend

- Revoking the acceptance of Gloria Ferguson’s resignation

- A program placement agreement with Butler Area School District

- A language services agreement with Global Wordsmiths

- An affiliation agreement with the University of Pittsburgh

- Authorizing the district solicitor to file an appeal of the Butler County Court of Common Pleas decision regarding the residence status of four children

- Mars Cheer Boosters, Inc. and Mars Roundball Club as school-affiliated organizations

- The board met in executive session before the meeting for legal and personnel matters.
