On July 14, my husband of 53 years passed away after fighting a long battle with Lewy body dementia. When I knew it was time to ask for help, I signed him with Lutheran Senior Life VNA and at that time, I was ask what funeral home I wish to use.

I said Spencer Geibel, I was told I made a good decision, I would be very pleased with him. I made that decision a while ago after reading about his struggles with drugs and thought he deserved a chance. That was by far one of the best decisions I made.

Spencer went above and beyond helping me and my family plan a funeral. He called each morning to see how I was and each evening to tell me to get some rest. He kept me informed the entire time before the funeral. He told me what was happening and how the plans were going. I cannot thank this young man enough for all his help, all his kind words and all his advice. His kindness to me and my family was so much more than I ever imagined.

I want to thank him publicly, I feel he is making a big difference in what is a very difficult time in life.
