Bucs place Burdi on 45-day IL
PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed right-handed pitcher Nick Burdi on the 45-day injured list with a right elbow ailment.
The team has activated infielder/outfielder JT Riddle, who had been on the IL since the start of the season with an abdomen strain.
