Muscato places 3rd at WPGA Open
PITTSBURGH — Mars resident Anthony Muscato placed third at the 117th Western Pennsylvania Golf Association Open Championship, held Tuesday and Wednesday at Shannopin Country Club.
Muscato carded a 7-under-par 135 (69-66) in the 36-hole event.
Mark Goetz, an amateur from Greensburg, won the title with a score of 11-under-par. Dan Obremski, of Irwin, placed second at 10-under.
