Junior Achievement adds to raffle prizes

With the end of Junior Achievement’s annual Pittsburgh’s Golden Ticket Raffle approaching Aug. 27, the winner of the raffle will have the choice of either two season tickets to the Steelers, Penguins or Pirates or a monetary prize of $10,000.

Proceeds from this fundraiser support JA’s programs, which affect thousands of students, including those in 15 schools across Butler County.

This year’s prizes: two season tickets for the 2020-2021 season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, Penn State football with parking pass, Pitt football and men’s basketball, Robert Morris University basketball, ice hockey and football, Washington Wild Things and Pittsburgh Riverhounds, or $10,000 cash.

Due to the effects of COVID-19, JA understands the 2020-2021 sports season will look different and has added a $10,000 prize option to the already ongoing raffle.

The winner of the raffle will be announced Aug. 27 and is based on the PA Lottery Big Four evening drawing.

Tickets can be purchased at www.jawesternpa.org by texting GTR to 50155 or by contacting Junior Achievement at 412-208-4747.
