No one injured in Fanker Road crash

Emergency crews responded to a one-vehicle crash on Fanker Road Tuesday morning that left no one injured. The driver of a Ford Fusion traveling east toward Route 19 likely encountered wet roads and veered into the guide rail, according to Harmony Fire District Lieutenant Kevin Behun.

Behun said the crash, which happened around 10 a.m., was the second that occurred at that spot in a week. “Literally, (it was) 10 feet apart from the last one,” Behun said. Behun advised drivers be cautious when negotiating the curves of Fanker Road, particularly in inclement weather.

Along with Harmony Fire District and Harmony EMS, police departments from Jackson and Lancaster townships responded to the call.
