Sentencings

Butler County Common Pleas Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences:

Stephen Netz, 32, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to 42 days to six months in jail, 18 months probation, $950 in fines and 60 hours of community service for driving under the influence, fleeing from police and driving with a suspended license. Netz was immediately paroled. Netz was charged July 19, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 13. In a second case, Netz was sentenced to one year of probation for simple assault. The two sentences are concurrent. Netz was charged Nov. 18 and pleaded guilty Feb. 13.

Timothy R. Schmeider, 55, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation and 15 hours of community service for disorderly conduct. Schmeider was charged June 20, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 12.

James Liptak, 38, of Butler was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in jail for receiving stolen property. Liptak was immediately paroled with the first six months of his parole on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Liptak must also serve 25 hours of community service and pay $1,189 in restitution. Liptak was charged March 27, 2019, and pleaded guilty March 11.

Jackie Marsha-Denise Koering, 35, of Ellwood City was sentenced to three months to one year in jail for two counts of theft. Koering was immediately paroled. She must also serve one year of probation and pay $700 in restitution. Koering was charged Aug. 7, 2019, and pleaded guilty June 1. In a second case, she was sentenced to six to 23½ months in jail for receiving stolen property. Koering was immediately paroled and she must also serve one year of probation and pay two restitution orders — one for $967 and a second for $4,486. Koering was charged March 28, 2019, and pleaded guilty June 1.

Jaran Benko, 41, of Butler was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 25 hours of community service for retail theft. Benko was charged Nov. 22 and pleaded guilty June 1.

Angela M. Crawford, 34, of Chicora was sentenced to 15 months of probation and $290 in restitution for terroristic threats. Crawford was charged Oct. 4 and pleaded guilty June 1.

Jennifer M. Smith, 31, of Fenelton was sentenced to 6 to 23½ months in jail for possession with intent to deliver. Smith was immediately paroled. She was charged Oct. 9 and pleaded guilty Feb. 12.

Barbara M. Tuttle, 46, of Prospect was sentenced to 6 months of probation with the first 10 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving under the influence. Tuttle must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 25 hours of community service. Tuttle was charged Sept. 17, 2018, and pleaded guilty May 1, 2019. In a second case, Tuttle was sentenced to six months of probation for theft. She must also pay a restitution order of $25.47 to Walmart. Tuttle was charged July 19, 2018, and pleaded guilty May 1, 2019.

Robert John Miller Jr., 61, of Butler was sentenced to 27 hours to six months in jail with immediate parole and six months of probation for driving under the influence of a solvent and possessing solvents for the release of toxic vapors. Miller must also serve 60 hours of community service and pay $1,250 in fines. Miller was charged May 25, 2019, and pleaded guilty Oct. 30, 2019.

Cody A. Isaacson, 28, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to two years of probation for recklessly endangering another person. Isaacson was charged Sept. 26 and pleaded guilty June 1. In a second case, he was sentenced to two years of probation for recklessly endangering another person. He was charged Sept. 26 and pleaded guilty June 1. In a third case, he was sentenced to two years of probation for flight to avoid apprehension. He was charged Sept. 30 and pleaded guilty June 1.

Lacey A. Shaw, 27, of Franklin was sentenced to two years of probation and $500 fines for retail theft. Shaw was charged Sept. 11 and pleaded guilty June 2.

Jacquelyn N. Conway, 30, of Oil City was sentenced to two years of probation and a $250 fine for conspiracy to commit retail theft. Conway was charged on Sept. 11 and pleaded guilty June 2.

Christopher D. Love, 23, of Beaver Falls was sentenced two to five years in jail for possession with the intent to deliver. Love was charged on Nov. 7 and pleaded guilty June 3.

Nathan N. Saul, 29, of Lyndora was sentenced to one to five years in jail for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Saul was immediately paroled with the first year on house arrest with electronic monitoring. He must also serve 150 hours of community service and pay $2,500 in fines. Saul was charged Oct. 11 and pleaded guilty June 3.

Dylan J. Notaro, 23, of Boyers was sentenced to one year of probation and must pay $549 in restitution for criminal mischief — damage to property. Notaro was charged Aug. 20 and pleaded guilty June 2.

Loraine N. Zediker, 50, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation for endangering the welfare of children. Zediker was charged Oct. 8 and pleaded guilty June 3.

Colton J. McIllwain, 29, of Saxonburg was sentenced to five years of probation with the first nine months on house arrest for conspiracy possession with the intent to deliver and possession with the intent to deliver. McIllwain was charged Oct. 7 and pleaded guilty March 11.
