The Pledge of Allegiance

With liberty and justice for all. Every American citizen has the inalienable right to these words and what they stand for. The Pledge of Allegiance and the Fourth of July should remind us of this. George Floyd was denied these rights and was murdered by someone whose job it was to protect him.

If we are to stand by these words, then discrimination, hatred, and bigotry must stop. The movement George Floyd’s death started, not only here but worldwide, is long overdue. He wanted to make a difference in the world. God rest his soul he most certainly did.

Over 300 years ago during the Salem witch trials, people were tortured and hung based on rumors and superstition. It’s time we started to respect each other as human beings. Let’s act like the Christian nation we’re supposed to be. It might just make everyone a better person.
