Michael and DeeDee Newcaster

Michael and Stella “DeeDee” Newcaster of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage June 25.

Newcaster married the former Stella Pensy on June 25, 1960, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have one child, Jayanne (Gary) Matthis of Fox Chapel.

They also have two granddaughters.

Newcaster retired from Armco/AK Steel.

He is a member of the Butler Moose and Elks and the Tanglewood Center.

He enjoys karaoke and oldies music.

Mrs. Newcaster retired from Spang and Co.

She is a member of the Tanglewood Center and Lake Arthur Ladies League and volunteers for Meals on Wheels.

She enjoys oldies concerts.

The Newcasters are members of St. Andrew Church, Butler.
