GRADUATE
Joseph Robert Sloan, son of Michael and Lisa Sloan of Harmony, graduated with honors from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
Sloan graduated summa cum laude, majoring in economics, finance and accounting.
The university honored Sloan with the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key in recognition of the senior with highest grade point average in the School of Business Administration. He was also named Outstanding Senior majoring in Finance.
During his junior year, he was selected to join the Davis Center for Portfolio Management. For three years, Sloan served as a resident assistant and also served as president of the Dayton Running Club. This fall, Sloan will join BDO in Cincinnati as an Audit Associate.
Sloan was a 2016 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
