12:10 p.m. Monday — No one was injured in a three-vehicle wreck at New Castle Road and Route 68. The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Melanie Rosenbauer, 30, of Cabot struck a vehicle driven by Justin Campbell, 39, of Butler at a red light.

Following the collision, according to a police report, Campbell’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Karen Thompson, 71, of Butler. Rosenbauer’s and Campbell’s vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Campbell for driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle without insurance.

3:30 p.m. Saturday — John Sleigher, 28, of Butler was chased and caught after police received calls of a man hindering traffic and trying to get into a car on Delwood Road. Police said they nabbed Sleigher, whom they accused of “deliberately running out in front of and stopping traffic.”

He also unsuccessfully attempted to get into a vehicle that stopped. He is charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing highways, public drunkenness and two pedestrian violations.

4:54 p.m. Tuesday — One driver was injured in a rear-end crash on Route 422 near the Pilot Travel Center in Muddy Creek Township. The collision occurred in the westbound lane.

The injured driver, a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was taken by Portersville EMS to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries, according to the Portersville Volunteer Fire Department. An accident report was not immediately available. Both vehicles had to be towed.

4:52 p.m. Tuesday — A man and woman, both of Allegheny County, were caught with drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 422 east in Franklin Township. Police did not immediately release the names of the suspects, a 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both of Carnegie.

10:40 p.m. Monday — Lucas W. Rearick, 20, of Cabot swerved to miss a deer and struck a guardrail on Brownsdale Road just west of Spithaler Road in Forward Township. He was not injured.

Monday — An unknown thief stole the Pennsylvania plate JZE0548 from a car at a home on Patties Place in Muddy Creek Township. The theft occurred between April 21 and Monday.

April 24 — Justin M. Angerett, 28, of Franklin Township was charged with drugged driving stemming from a March traffic stop in Franklin Township. He was pulled over around 9:15 p.m. March 6 after nearly striking a trooper’s cruiser that was traveling in the opposite direction on Country Club Road, police said.

Angerett was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a drug test, which allegedly showed he had morphine, xylazine and norfentanyl in his system, according to court documents.

He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, disregarding traffic lanes, failing to use turn signals and careless driving.

3 p.m. Tuesday — No one was injured when a car driven by Patricia E. Robinson, 86, of Kittanning and a sport utility vehicle driven by Alexis N. Lawniczak, 27, of Templeton collided on Butler Road at Pine Street in East Franklin Township. Both vehicles had to be towed.
