Emergency helicopter called to the scene of a Jackson Township crash

Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a vehicle crash about 6:40 a.m. in Jackson Township that left two people injured.

Authorities said the wreck happened on Pattison Street Extension near the Evans City Elementary School and reportedly involved a "rolling domestic."

The driver of a sport utility vehicle, believed to be a woman, ended up losing control and crashing over an embankment and ending in a wooded area.

The initial call reported entrapment. A medical helicopter has been called. Authorities say a man was riding in the vehicle.
