Juvenile court hearings are pending against three teenagers accused in an alleged crime spree at the Center Township Athletic Association baseball complex earlier this month.

State police Monday charged the trio — two boys and a girl, all 15 of the Butler area — with felony charges of burglary and trespass and misdemeanor charges of theft and criminal mischief.

The girl also is charged with false reports to law enforcement authorities. Police did not release the names of the defendants, who all remain at their homes.

Police allege the youths broke into the Mercer Road baseball field complex on March 17 and vandalized buildings and other property. The teens also are accused of stealing food from the concession stand.

Association officials notified police after discovering the crimes March 18. Several outbuildings were broken into and damaged, and racial and homophonic slurs carved into picnic tables.
