Doris Sopher

Doris Sopher of Harrisville will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner later at Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Harrisville.

The former Doris Shipton was born March 9, 1930, in Mercer. She married H. Dale Sopher on June 24, 1949, in West Unity Church, Harrisville. He is deceased.

She has two children, Deborah Baker of Portland, Ore., and Dennis (Rebecca “Becky”) Sopher of Harrisville. She also has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is retired from JCPenney and Costello’s Candy in Grove City.

She is a member of Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Harrisville.
