If we can change daily lives, we can change our governments

We think we need an enemy.

Governments work hard to get us to be afraid and to hate so we rally behind them. If we do not have a real enemy, they will invent one in order to mobilize us.

It is not correct to believe that the world’s situation is in the hands of government and that if the president would only have the correct policies, there would be peace.

Our daily lives have the most to do with the situation of the world. If we can change our daily lives, we can change our governments and we can change the world.

Our presidents and our governments are us.

They reflect our lifestyle and our way of thinking.

Check out the book “Love in action: Writings on non-violent social change” by Thich Nhat HanH.

Judgementalism is so prevalent in our society, that if we do not stop it, we will (and sadly already have) become so singular in our ideologies that we will no longer have a true world vision.

A vision of true oneness (for all!) One that can only lead to an eternal life of God and our blessed mother earth.
