The second annual Dance with the Butler County Celebrities will be at 5 p.m. May 2 at the Crystal Room at the Butler Days Inn.

The Butler County Symphony Association event will feature eight county celebrities partnering with dance instructors who have choreographed routines.

Those routines will be performed at the May 2 event in a competition for the Judge's Award and the People's Choice Award.

Tickets for the Dance with the Butler County Celebrities competition and dinner can be purchased online at www.butlersymphony.org.

All proceeds will benefit the Butler County Symphony Orchestra and their educational outreach.

Local celebrities competing are:

- Jana Panther, director of marketing, public relations and the BHS Foundation at Butler Hospital

- Debbie Crum, director of outreach at the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau

- Heidi Nicholls-Bowser, director of membership and healthy living at Butler YMCA

- Phil Ball, Butler Little Theatre board of directors

- Jeff Double, owner of All About Reclaimed

- Jordan Grady, Butler County Chamber of Commerce executive director

- Tyler Friel, news director at Butler Radio Network

- Ron Carter, president and executive director at the Strand Theater Initiative.
