It was a startling moment in American history, when a tearful Rush Limbaugh accepted the Medal of Freedom award from America’s commander and chief, Donald Trump, at this year’s State of the Union Address. An audience of admiring, congressional Republican friends and benefactors greeted Limbaugh with a standing ovation as he accepted the award from President Trump. At the same time, members of the opposing Democratic party sat in stunning disbelief in their witnessing a spectacle reserved for real American heroes, but certainly not tyrannical divider and chief, Rush Limbaugh; no hero, he.

In 2008, radio, political pundit Limbaugh signed a lucrative eight years, $400 million contract to continue what he started 20 years before; dividing America. His long history of demonizing the liberal left with malicious satire contributed in large part of America’s divisive politics and social instability. Yet today, his political gibberish poisons the air waves in support of radical conservative scheme to villify the left. Dereliction of duty thrives in the Republican controlled Senate, while a divided America is uncertain where destiny leads them.

Too often conservative letters to the editor may well be influenced by Rush Limbaugh. So profoundly inflammatory is the damning lunacy, it must be exposed for what it is, plain and simple hogwash. In his letter of February 12, George Pikoulas admonished former Ambassador to the Ukraine, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman for telling the truth under oath during the Trump impeachment hearings. Here are a few excerpts from the Pikoulas letter, “Rush Limbaugh deserved the distinction of being given the Medal of Freedom. Purple Heart recipient Lt. Col. Vindman in his betrayal of President Trump should be put through a court martial and sentenced to many years in Leavenworth Prison.”

Lt. Col. Vindman was relieved of his duties as Ambassador to the Ukraine before he was unceremoniously escorted from the White House.

A vindictive president of the United States has guided America’s destiny in lawless violation of human rights. His far reaching tentacles take on prisoners, as a day of reckoning approaches in the November 2020 election. Heaven help us all, as a reckless impeached President of the United States fans the flames of discontent in America and the world beyond.
