Sentencing Court

Judge Timothy McCune handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Brian J.V. Schanz, 28, of Butler was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 60 hours of community service for driving under the influence of drugs. Schanz was charged June 19 and pleaded guilty Dec. 11.

Dylan D. Koedel, 21, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Koedel was charged June 22, 2017, and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Alan B. Cousins, 22, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation and a $100 fine for making an unsworn falsification. Cousins was charged July 11 and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Christian R. Sarver, 25, of Ellwood City was sentenced to five years of probation with the first 105 days on house arrest with monitoring for driving under the influence and public drunkenness. Sarver also must pay $1,650 in fines and serve 100 hours of community service. Sarver was charged April 3 and pleaded guilty Dec. 10.

Toby A. John, 19, of Butler was sentenced to one year of probation for harassment. John was charged Oct. 25, 2018, and was found guilty during a nonjury trial Dec. 13.

Johnnie May Nagowski, 25, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation for receiving stolen property. Nagowski was charged Aug. 7 and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Mikey J. Acevedo, 24, who has no known address, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail followed by another jail sentence of three months to a year for receiving stolen property and driving under the influence of a controlled substance. Acevedo also must pay more than $4,000 in restitution orders, pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. Acevedo was charged Sept. 20 and pleaded guilty Jan. 21.

Jeisan M. Timblin, 47, of Butler was sentenced to one year minus a day to two years minus a day in jail for possession of heroin with the intent to deliver. Timblin was paroled after sentencing. Timblin was charged July 20 and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Eric R. Deem, 47, of Butler was sentenced to six to 23 and a half months in jail and 25 hours of community service for carrying a gun not to be carried without a license. Deem was charged Sept. 13 and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Andrew Mounsey, 29, of McKees Rocks was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 14 days on house arrest with monitoring, a $1,000 fine and 40 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Mounsey was charged May 19 and pleaded guilty Dec. 11.

Jared R. Jewart, 32, of Chicora was sentenced to six months of probation and a $200 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. Jewart was charged Feb. 5, 2014, and pleaded guilty Jan. 22. In a second case, Jewart was sentenced to one year of probation, a $200 fine and 10 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia. Jewart was charged May, 12, 2014, and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.

Bryan W. Gillespie, 34, of Butler was sentenced to 18 months of probation and 50 hours of community service for fleeing an officer. Gillespie was charged July 13 and pleaded guilty Dec. 11.

Daniel B. Martin, 41, of Ellwood City was sentenced to six to 18 months in jail plus six months of probation for possession of a controlled substance. Martin was paroled after sentencing. He was charged March 4 and pleaded guilty Jan. 21.

Andrew C. Fink, 29, of Renfrew was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service for terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. Fink was charged Sept. 7, 2018, and pleaded guilty Dec. 11.

Brittany R. Zukowski, 32, of Harmony was sentenced to one year of probation and 25 hours of community service for retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft. Zukowski was charged April 15 and pleaded guilty Dec. 11.

Robert L. Dillaman, 43, of Butler was sentenced to five years of probation with the first 105 days on house arrest followed by another year of probation for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. Dillaman also must pay a $1,500 fine and serve 75 hours of community service. Dillaman was charged July 1 and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.
