LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University is picked to finish fourth in the PSAC West Division women's softball standings in the preseason coaches poll.

Gannon is picked to win the division, followed by Seton Hill, California, Slippery Rock, Edinboro and Mercyhurst.

SRU returns seven starters from last year's 18-27 team. Freshmen on this year's team include Slippery Rock High School graduate Julianna Hutchinson, a catcher-infielder, and Seneca Valley graduate and pitcher Claire Zimmerman.

GREENVILLE — Moniteau graduate and Westminster College junior guard Alazia Graves scored a game-high 19 points and sank a career-high five treys in leading the Titans to a 77-36 women’s basketball win at Thiel Wednesday night.

Westminster improved to 15-3 overall, 9-1 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Yes Double Down, a 6-year-old mare trained by Bob Krenitsky, Jr., and owned by Julie Krenitsky — both of Butler — won an $11,200 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace during harness racing action Wednesday at The Meadows.

Yes Double Down increased her career earnings to $98,467.
