HERMITAGE — AAU basketball tryouts for the Penn-Ohio Athletic Club Blue Storm take place March 8 at Kennedy Catholic High School.

Tryouts are for boys and girls in grades 3-12. Cost is $25 and includes a reversible practice jersery.

The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners have approved three expanded Sunday hunting opportunities for November.

Archery deer hunting will be available Nov. 15, bear hunting Nov. 22 and firearms deer hunting Nov. 29.
