CABOT — The ninth annual Cabot United Methodist Church Wild Game Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

This is a potluck dinner but food contributions don’t have to be made from wild game.

Proceeds will benefit Nevin’s Hunting Friends and the Cabot Food Bank.

Nevin’s Hunting Friends is a local organization that helps special needs children go hunting.

The Slippery Rock Area School District has set kindergarten registration:

Moraine Elementary kindergarten registration date is March 17. Call 724-865-2010, Ext. 5601.

Slippery Rock Area Elementary registration is March 18. Call 724-794-2960, Ext. 4001

Parents need to call the school their child will be attending to schedule an appointment.

Information packets will be sent to parents once they call and schedule an appointment time for their child.

Parents must provide the completed registration packet, the child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency the day of registration.
