A. Mildred Mydock of Hobe Sound, Fla., celebrated her 100th birthday with an open house Nov. 27 in Hobe Sound.

The former A. Mildred Rexrode was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Barto, W. Va.

She married William Mydock Feb. 3, 1940, in Canton, Ohio. He died March 17, 1992.

She has five children, David Mydock, Mike (Becky) Mydock, Joe (Terry) Mydock and Mary (Rob) Oliphant, all of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Ruth (Roger) Druschel of Lyndora.

She also has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was a housewife.

She came to Butler in June 1952 where her husband was pastor at the Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church. She moved to Florida in 2015 and resides with her son, David.
