Resident earns highest Scouting rank

Chris Noah

Chris Noah, 18, of Cranberry Township earned Boy Scouting’s highest rank when he successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review in May.

His project was to create a GaGa pit for the Calvin Presbyterian Church where Chris and his family are active. He had a lot of help from his troop as well as several local businesses in the construction of the pit.

The son of Wayne and Darleen Noah of Cranberry Township, Chris, 18, is a member of Troop 404 sponsored by the Cranberry Elks Lodge 2249.

Chris has been active in the Boy Scouts for 11 years, earned 24 merit badges and has served as patrol leader for several years.

He will graduate from Seneca Valley High School in 2020 and plans to attend college majoring in either teaching or film directing.
