husband, Dan Pink,

who passed away nine years ago on

December 11, 2010.

When I am sad and missing you,

I have your pictures here.

Your face brings such comfort

And makes you feel so near.

Precious are the memories

Of the time we had together.

You’re on my mind, day and night,

And in my heart forever.

Although the tears still fall

And I long to be with you,

it’s memories and your photographs

That help me make it through.

A picture’s worth a thousand words,

But in my mind are three.

The simple words, “I love you”
