The recent editorial page column “Young people ignorant of history” is another example of telling the truth to help Democrats understand the meaning of socialism and communism.

This move to socialism has become a constant theme with Democrats who want people to believe that these programs are pro-American.

According to the article in question, economic freedom is measured by freedom from regulation, freedom to trade internationally, size of government, a sound legal system, private property rights and government spending and taxation. The US ranked in the top 5 countries.

I didn’t notice anything about free health care, paid maternity leave, free university tuition nor subsidized child care for working families. The money for all of these programs are taken from some to give to others. This is called socialism.

According to government statistics, the average U.S. worker changes jobs 12 times in their career. Apparently fear of losing health care benefits doesn’t stop them.

Forty percent of college graduates are working in jobs that don’t require a college degree. Only 27 percent of college graduates are working in their field of study. So just maybe they haven’t quite figured out their life before Democrats want to give them a free education.

The Democratic party doesn’t want you to have economic freedom. They want to give people free stuff so that they don’t have to be responsible for their own life decisions.

While they pretend to stand up for the working man, they are in reality only serving their billionaire donors like Michael Bloomberg, George Soros, and others.

Remember, if someone is telling you that more social programs are better for the United States, they don’t have your interests at heart.
