Brayden Hardsock and Jack Johnson had a goal and assist, Jaxon Salata a goal, Andrew Roskovski two assists.
EJ Delaney stopped 10 of 13 shots on goal.
Butler takes on Armstrong at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Belmont Ice Complex.
