Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute will offer a care and cosmetics program at its Butler location, 160 Hollywood Drive, to individuals with a cancer diagnosis.

The class begins at 2 p.m. Friday.

Anyone with a cancer diagnosis can register by calling 412-330-4045 and leaving a message with their name and phone number. The class is open to anyone with a cancer diagnosis, including those not being treated by AHN.

All participants will receive a cosmetics travel bag, concealer, eyebrow liner, eye shadow, false eyelashes, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, lotion, makeup wipes and mascara.

Celebrate Christmas with the ACTS (Adoring Christ Thru Song) choir and orchestra at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422 and also at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Center Presbyterian Church, 211 Center St., Slippery Rock.The concert is “Emmanuel - God With Us,” by Lloyd Larson. It is a cantata of lessons and carols, a tradition for celebrating Christmas, using timeless Scripture passages, historic carols and newer songs.
