Robert and Beverly Mortimer

Robert and Beverly Mortimer of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage Sunday with a private dinner with family and friends at Mount Chestnut Church.

Mortimer was married to the former Beverly Daugherty on Dec. 8, 1959, by an East Butler justice of the peace. They renewed their vows Dec. 8, 1984, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Butler.

They have five children, Cindy (Andy), Butler; Donna (Mike), Butler; Julie (Dave), Harrisville; Robert (Leslie), Portersville; and Brian (Brandi), Butler.

They also have 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is a retired truck driver.

She is a homemaker.

They attend Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church.
