More than two dozen members of a Butler woman's family packed Judge William Shaffer's courtroom Monday morning to watch as her convicted murderer was sentenced to life in prison.

Ishemer Ramsey was sentenced to life for the 2017 murder of Melissa Barto. Ramsey was found guilty of first-degree homicide and other charges by Shaffer in a non-jury trial in late October.
