Butler County Tourism's 30 Days of Giveaways was recently awarded the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Associations (PRLA) Spirit of Hospitality Campaign of the Year.

And this year's contest promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We've developed this program to highlight our member businesses and we want the community to know about them," said Jack Cohen, President of Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau. "We're excited to see this program grow and honored to be the recipient of PRLA's 'Spirit of Hospitality Campaign of the Year.' ”

For the third year in a row, Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau will give away prizes on their Facebook Page during their award-winning holiday promotional campaign.

A total of $6,000 worth of prizes have been donated by local businesses during the popular contest. In an effort to enhance marketing efforts for local businesses during the holidays, Butler County Tourism reached out to members asking if they wanted to contribute gift certificates and/or other prizes toward the 30 Days of Giveaways.

Prizes range from gift certificates to local shops, restaurants and specialty stores, to theatre tickets, overnight hotel stays, spa services and so much more.

The 30 Days of Giveaways starts on Monday, November 25 and goes through Tuesday, December 24.

Contestants must “like” and “comment” on the Facebook post in order to be entered into the contest. The following day, a name is randomly chosen and the winner is notified.
