'Sense and Sensibility' staged at Grove City
GROVE CITY — Grove City High School will present the play “Sense and Sensibility” by Kate Hamill and based on the book by Jane Austen at 7 p.m. Nov. 21, 22 and 23 and at 1 p.m. Nov. 23 in the high school “Little” Theatre, 511 Highland Ave.
Tickets are $3 for students and senior citizens and $5 for adults. Seating is limited. To reserve tickets in advance (recommended), use the link on the school district website (grovecity.k12.pa.us). Tickets can be claimed and paid for when the doors open, an hour before show time. Any unclaimed tickets will forfeit reservations 15 minutes before showtime.

A playful new adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel follows the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters — sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne — after their father's sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable.
