4:52 p.m. Tuesday — Jillian Batty, 19, of Butler lost control of her car on snow-covered North Duffy Road and struck a traffic sign near the Butler Commons' Target store. The car got stuck on the sign post and had to be towed. No one was injured.

Nov. 4 — Police charged Darnell A. Wynn, 39, of Lyndora with drunken driving stemming from a September traffic stop in Butler. Police said they pulled him over around 2:10 a.m. Sept. 7 on Whitestown Road.A breath test allegedly subsequently showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.118 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.Wynn is charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, failing to carry a license, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.
