POLICE REPORTS

The following items were gathered from various police departments:

5:17 p.m. Friday — Laurie Maietta, 50, of Cranberry Township drove her Jeep Grand Cherokee into a deer on North Main Street extension in Center Township, but wasn’t injured. Her car was towed.

11:16 a.m. Friday — Police arrested Brandon Wheeler, 24, of Pittsburgh after a traffic stop on I-79 in Lancaster Township.

During the stop, police said they found a car full of shoplifted goods from the Nike Factory and Coach Outlet stores in Grove City, according to police. Charges are pending.

8:37 a.m. Friday — A Dodge Ram 5500 caught fire after a vehicle accident on Route 8 in Harrisville.

Neither the driver, Jason Pollock, 37, of Parker nor passenger, Patrick Marron, 39, of West Sunbury, were injured.

8:30 a.m. Friday — Police are seeking information about a crash on North Road in Franklin Township.

The driver involved is believed to have been driving a silver 2019 or 2020 Jeep. It would have suffered heavy front-end damage as well as damage to its undercarriage.

The driver left the road and hit a fence and steel gate. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.

6 p.m. Nov. 7 — Neither a driver nor passenger were injured when a Mercury Grand Marquis struck a deer on State Route 422 in Franklin Township.

Richard Serafine, 64, of Portersville was driving with Della Serafine, 61, of Portersville in the passenger seat.

6:51 a.m. Nov. 7 — Robert C. Mesol, 32, of New Castle reported to police that another driver struck the rear of his Chevrolet Cruze on I-79 in Jackson Township. Mesol stopped to exchange information, but the other driver did not. Mesol did not have a description of the vehicle to give police.
