Abstract paintings and mixed media artwork by Abraham Darlington are on display at the Butler Art Center.

Artist Abraham Darlington of Butler has a show of his work at the Butler Art Center this weekend.

The exhibit called “Paint It Black: Abstract Street Art & Collage” runs through Saturday at the center at 344 S. Main St.

The reception is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

More than 100 abstract paintings and mixed media artwork are on display.

Admission to the show and the art center is free.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays, except holidays.
