4:24 a.m. Monday — Charles A. Rocha, 29, was arrested after he allegedly placed a pillow over his ex-wife's face, cutting off her airway for at least 45 seconds during a domestic dispute at his home on the 600 block of Center Avenue.

Before attempting to suffocate the victim with the pillow, according to court documents, Rocha told her, “Take your last breath and die.”

He was arraigned on a felony charge of strangulation and misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats and simple assault. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond following arraignment.

9:11 p.m. Saturday — Jerrod A. Armstrong, 39, of Kittanning was arrested after he allegedly made a shooting threat at the Butler Brew Works on South Main Street.

The manager and co-owner allegedly told police that Armstrong had been harassing customers in the brew pub when he was removed from the premises. Before the suspect left, according to court documents, he threatened to return later and shoot the manager.

Police were notified and officers found the defendant in an apartment building on the 200 block of North Main Street. He was allegedly intoxicated, but he did not have a gun.

Armstrong was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats and public drunkenness, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond.

5:57 a.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Taylor Corle, 20, of Butler pulled into the Route 68 and Eberhart Road intersection and collided with a pickup truck driven by William Okeson, 66, of Butler. Corle's vehicle, following the collision, struck another pickup, driven by Jeffrey Shirey, 58, of Rimersburg, which was stopped on Eberhart Road.No injuries were reported, but the SUV and Okeson's truck both had to be towed. Police said Corle is facing a ticket for a flashing red light violation.7:11 a.m. Sunday — An SUV driven by Torin Basham, 19, of Butler struck a utility pole along Meridian Road near W. Ricks Taproom & Grill. The vehicle caught fire following the crash, which severely damaged the pole.Neither Basham nor her passenger, a 21-year-old man, was injured. Police said both fled the scene after the crash. Basham was later cited for hit-and-run and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.10:45 p.m. Saturday — Jeffrey A. Kennedy, 57, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly struck a woman during a domestic dispute at a home on Irene Drive. Police said the 57-year-old victim suffered unspecified injuries in the incident.Kennedy was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. He is free on nonmonetary bond

8:14 a.m. Monday — Craig S. Welsh, 48, of Slippery Rock lost control of his pickup truck and struck multiple fence posts after traveling off Shields Road about one-half mile west of Harmony Road in Mercer Township. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:13 a.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Karen L. Rivers, 51, of West Sunbury struck a deer on Halston Road just east of Beaver Dam Road in Clay Township.10:48 p.m. Sunday — An upstate New York woman was injured when the SUV she was driving struck a deer on Interstate 79 south in Muddy Creek Township. Melissa E. Moran, 23, of Syracuse, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.6:41 p.m. Sunday — An SUV driven by Michelle A. Spatafore, 47, of Seven Fields struck a deer on I-79 north in Jackson Township. She was not injured, but her vehicle had to be towed.5:06 p.m. Sunday — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Jefferson Township. The crash occurred when a car driven by Carole R. King, 56, of Butler struck the back of an SUV on Route 356 near the Field House restaurant.The other driver, James Staninecz, 62, of Freeport, was slowing to make a right turn at the restaurant when his vehicle was rear-ended, according to a police report. The car continued across the road and struck a guardrail.Both drivers and Staninecz's passenger, Michele Staninecz, 63, of Freeport, all suffered unknown injuries. All of the occupants were wearing seat belts. Police cited King for following too closely to another vehicle.2:07 a.m. Sunday — Taylor M. Ritzert, 22, of Chicora lost control of her SUV and spun into a tree before sliding down an embankment along Clearfield Road in Clearfield Township. The vehicle slid down an embankment. Ritzert was wearing a seat belt and she was not injured.Police cited her for driving too fast for conditions.2:32 a.m. Saturday — Richard A. Bolt, 46, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after he crashed his pickup truck at Golden City and Logan roads in Penn Township, police said.In addition to DUI, he is charged with failing to keep right, a stop sign violation and careless driving.4:49 p.m. Oct. 19 — A car driven by Michael R. Ravert, 49, of Slippery Rock and an SUV driven by Diane E. Leon, 59, of Cranberry Township collided on North Main Street just south of East Water Street in Slippery Rock.

2:28 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Zachary D. Angert, 33, of Karns City crashed into the end of a guardrail on a bridge on Route 68 while approaching Kittanning Hollow Road in Bradys Bend Township. Police said he fled the scene. His car had to be towed.Angert was cited for hit-and-run, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and reckless driving.7:02 p.m. Saturday — Ronald V. Weibel, 63, of Karns City lost control of his pickup truck when the driver’s side rear tire came off while rounding a curve on Kittanning Hollow Road just north of Kenner Road in Bradys Bend Township. The truck stopped by an embankment. No injuries were reported.
