Both varsity soccer teams at Slippery Rock High School won their respective region and will be competing in the District 10 playoffs.

The Rocket girls will host Fairview in a Class 2A first-round meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday.

In Class 3A, Slippery Rock’s boys received a bye into the semifinals, where they will face the winner of Wednesday’s quarterfinal between General McLane and Meadville Oct. 29 at a time and site to be determined.
