BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team held its Dig Pink match Friday and raised $3,300 for cancer research.

The Pioneers (14-2, 9-0) defeated Penn Highlands 25-13, 25-11, 25-17. Makenzie McDowell had nine kills, Abby Kopac and Kaylee Ebbert eight each, Morgan Malinski 31 assists and Maddy McAninch 24 digs.

BC3 plays at PSU Greater Allegheny at 7 p.m. Monday.
