Old Stone House, near the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528, Brady Township, will be the site of “Spooky Stories” on Oct. 19. Master storyteller Jo Ann Dadisman will liven the tavern room with entertaining and spooky tales for all ages to enjoy.  This event is open to ticket holders during two sessions: the first beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the second at 8 p.m. Admission is $7 per person, but children 5 and younger are admitted free. Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, has opened the 13th annual “Tough Art” exhibition. “XOXO: An Exhibit About Love and Forgiveness.” The Children’s Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays. Admission will be free on Sept. 29. Regular admission is $18 for adults and $16 for children ages 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Children younger than 2 are admitted free. Activities, food samples, and six floors of History Center exhibitions are included with regular admission of $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens age 62 and older, $9 for students and children ages 6 to 17, and free for children ages 5 and younger. Call 412-454-6000.National Aviary, 700 Arch St., hosts “Owls, Vultures, and Bats” in October. Owl-o-Ween takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 and 26, included with admission, which is $17 for adults and $16 for senior citizens and children ages 2 to 12.
