CONCORD TWP — One man was taken to a hospital after a car crash Thursday at the intersection of Hooker Road and Oneida Valley Road.

State police said a man driving southbound in an SUV swerved to avoid another vehicle trying to cross the road.

The man’s SUV struck and got stuck on the stairs of a building on the corner and had heavy front-end damage.

Police said the man was taken to a hospital by Butler Ambulance for suspected minor injuries.

West Sunbury and North Washington fire departments assisted on the scene.
