BUTLER TWP — The ramps that connect North Main Street Extension to Route 422 will close again this weekend for repairs.

The state's Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that — weather permitting — the entire cloverleaf and all ramps surrounding it will close beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and reopen at midnight Monday.

Motorists traveling on Route 8 and Route 422 who are not using those exits should not be affected, according to a PennDOT news release.

Lindy Paving will mill, repair and pave the ramps during the closures and tie the ramps to new pavement on Route 422.

The work is part of PennDOT's Butler bypass project.
